Flowering Time:Late Summer-fall
An outstanding native wildflower, deserving of a special spot in any sunny border. Plants form a tall, bushy clump of dark-green leaves, bearing huge branching spikes of white flowers from late summer into the fall, the tips arching in a unique and graceful way. Outstanding as a cut flower. Clumps may be easily divided in early spring. Attractive to butterflies. Beautiful at the waterside.
