This striking biennial produces greenish-white cones of flowers surrounded by prickly, silver bracts. Very Drought tolerant and will grow in poor soils. Miss Wilmott's ghost is named after the nineteenth century gardener, Ellen Willmott, who liked to secretly scatter these seeds in other people's gardens.Eryngium is terrific with ornamental grasses.
